Research @ fort siloso, Sentosa

Was out last week - in search of life size human reproductions for a project proposal.

I realised that many rare sights were also discovered. This pic is from Fort Siloso - on Sentosa island.

Then, I also went to the Zheng He exhibition which was an outdoor tent - exhibition. It was an interesting show. Although, the standard of the exhibit is not very high.

There was an interesting "find" in the exhibition. That Marco Polo has a map of the world before his exploration. It was speculated that perhaps the map was given to an Italian when he met a Chinese person. (can't recall where.)

Another thing, there was already a Chinese "world map" pre-dating Zheng He.

Bla bla. I can go on but can't deny that I wasn't absorbing the story completely. Was focusing on the life size human replicas. (The models were made from wax). They were better quality than those found in Fort Siloso.
