A Danger Museum Project * Presented by Artsingapore The Wire: Cultural Podcast of the 21st Century is a cultural podcast initiated by Simon Petre (anthropologist/DJ) and Woon Tien Wei (Artist) for The Danger Museum (Singapore).
It is a project responding to the lack of independent media coverage during the time of the Singapore Biennale and grew from strength to strength from this initial spark. Today, THE WIRE works with a modest group of dedicated journalists who believe in providing the best in reporting and commentary on Singapore art and culture.
The Wire TEAM continues to keep the spirit of independent media alive in Singapore and wants to share that vision with the world!
This work is in the form of podcast and vodcast in a way responding to the rise of Singapore's Podcast Culture and using the podcast medium to disseminate the work.
