Rowell Road is located in Singapore Little India district. It is a one-way street. It starts at the intersection with Serangoon Road which is the location of Sri Veerama Kallamman Temple. It then stretches southwest across Kampong Kapor Road, Shanghai Toy Museum, Post-Museum, an independent cultural center, and Food #03, a quirky cafe hangout and ends at the intersection of Jalan Besar Road. It is home to many interesting and colourful characters and charming part of Little India.
Rowell Road is a humble hub for wide spectrum of people from different communities. It is regularly frequented by the local population as well as major tourist attraction. Often the occupants in this area are affectionately called Rowelleans.
