Zentai Art Project by Yuzuru

This is a piece from Yuzuru's Zentai Art Project.

I like how she is developing the piece since I first seen it in a group exhibition at GoodMan art Centre a year or so ago.

For this piece, she seemed to bring the sound element in her practice with the imagery of the 'zentai' figure very successfully.

'zentai' and the sound 'tweaking', the sound creates a raw, tensed, sexual energy. Quite cool - reminds me a bit about this bizarre sex scene in the film Tetsuo. It is kind of pornish but yet not ... since Zentai figure is fully clothed. This neon colour faceless figure... F%cking weird image.
