24th Fukuoka Art and Culture Prize 2013: Nalini MALANI and Apichatpong Weerasethakul

Ms. Nalini MALANI, Indian artist, who is the first participating
artist in our art residence program, has been awarded the 24th Fukuoka
Art and Culture Prize (Arts and Culture Prize) 2013. The artist will
visit Fukuoka for the prize awarding ceremony and the forum to be held

In commemoration of her prizewinning, the FAAM is now planning to hold
a commemorative exhibition to show her works at the time of her visit
at the FAAM.

Apichatpong WEERASETHAKUL, renowned Thai filmmaker, has been also
awareded.
